In recent years, Business Intelligence (BI) systems have played pivotal roles in helping organizations
to fine tune the business goals such as improving customer retention, market penetration, profitability and efficiency.
In most cases, these insights are driven by analyses of historical data. BI focuses on discovering
knowledge from various electronic data repositories, both internal and external, to support better decision making.
The National Workshop on Business Intelligence & Data warehousing is a two-day event intended to provide a platform
that would enable managers, decision makers in enterprises and researchers to give insights on most of the BI-related problems and solutions,
thus enabling them to gain the competitive advantage.
