Second law of Thermodynamics: Limitation of First Law, Kelvin-Planck and Clausius
Statements, Reversible and Irreversible Processes, Carnot cycle, Entropy, Second Law
analysis of a control volume, Heat Engine and Heat Pump.
Fundamental Thermodynamic Relations, Maxwell Relations, Clapeyron’s Equation,
Kirchoff’s equation, Phase Rule.
