A website to allow students to provide information on ragging in their colleges to an independent body, which will then alert the college administration without revealing the student’s identity, will be available for students of Tamil Nadu colleges.
The anonymous facility at www.amanmovement.organd the feedback that principals can get out of it would help eliminate ragging in Tamilnadu.Soon this would be extended to other states.
The trust was also working towards creating a database of all colleges in the country and in spreading awareness.
Inaugurating the conference, attended by Vice-chancellors and Principals of different universities and colleges in the state.
Governor Surjit Singh Barnala said that Tamilnadu should become a “model state” in elimination of ragging.
