The Anna University Syndicate has decided to issue a show-cause notice to four of its affiliated colleges,asking why they should not be Disaffiliated,since they have failed to meet the university's requirements.

At its meeting on Wednesday,the Syndicate decided to issue show-cause notices to the PMR Institute of Technology,the GGR College of Engineering,VKK Vijayan Engineering College and Sri Ram Engineering College,According to several members who attend the meeting.Admission to these Colleges may also be prevented during this academic year,they said.
