Sastra University now offers M.Tech. in Advanced Manufacturing Joint effort with Lucas TVS for producing quality engineers

Launching an M.Tech. Course in Advanced Manufacturing to be offered jointly by Shanmugha Arts Science Technology and Research (SASTRA) University and Lucas TVS, Mr. Ravichandran CEO Lucas TVS said his company was interested in producing quality engineers and associating with premier educational institutions to offer courses.
It had set up the Advance Manufacturing cell in Indian Institute of Technology-Chennai and the Centre for Quality at Anna-University Chennai.
Now it had entered into a memorandum f understanding (MoU) with SASTRA university to offer a postgraduate course.
The aim was to come up with good manufacturing engineers. The course would incorporate world-class good practices with emphasis on total quality management.
