More students this year are showing a preference to joining arts and science courses due to global economic slowdown and recession.
Consequently the University of Madras has allotted 10 percent more (4000) seats to over 100 colleges affiliated to it.
Compared to last year’s statistics, this year seems to be very impressive with all seats getting filled up in many branches like B.Com. B.Sc. (visual communication) B.C.A. B.B.A. and B.Sc. (Microbiology)
