UPSC to conduct Civil Services Main Exam 2009 on Oct 23

• The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2009 from October 23, 2009 at 19 centres across the country.

• In an official press release, the UPSC said that admission certificates have already been issued to all eligible candidates. Letters of rejection citing the grounds for rejection have also been sent.

• "The applicant may contact UPSC Facilitation Counter on telephone no.23381125, 23098543 and 23385271 if he/she has not received either of the above communications. The candidates can also send messages on FAX No.011-23387310", the Commission said

• "The information about venue particulars in respect of all the admitted candidates is available on UPSC website at http://www.upsc.gov.in", it added.
